Our kids

img_20161022_124053In September 2012 we were able to take the first six girls. Today SUNRISE HOME OF KAMPALA has become a new home for 24 girls. The children are between 5 and 17 years old and urgently need support due to different reasons. Some are orphans, most of them have one parent. But those cannot care for the children, as it would be necessary, whether it is because of severe illness or other familiar problems. Some of our girls stayed in one of the slum areas of Kampala before, others coming from little villages, where the supply is generally bad and most of the families have no chance to get a profession, which enables to support the family with the basic needs. The children are feeling really happy in their new home and visit schools nearby.
